ABOUT US
WE'RE HIGH SCHOOLERS
WHO BUILD ROBOTS
We are FRC team 8839, Shoshone Robotics. Founded in 2022, we are based out of Shoshone, Idaho. Our team is comprised of students from a variety of diverse backgrounds and interests.
Our FRC Program is managed by Coaches and Mentors and powered by our generous Sponsors. Team 8839 strives to empower students to gain self-confidence and become leaders, collaborators, and critical thinkers while fostering a culture of STEM celebration in our community through robotics.
We all come together to build a robot and compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition, a global event that is a place for all students to learn, grow, and compete.

OUR MISSION
Shoshone Robotics provides hands-on STEM experiences that help students build technical skills, confidence, and teamwork while preparing them for future STEM careers. Through mentorship and community support, we make STEM education accessible to students of all backgrounds in our rural community.
Would you Like to Support us?

As a FIRST Robotics Team, we rely heavily on the support of our sponsors and educational grants to continue providing a positive and enriching environment for our students to learn and grow in STEM. Their contributions are instrumental in empowering us to educate and advance the next generation of professionals.
