WE'RE HIGH SCHOOLERS
WHO BUILD ROBOTS
We are FRC team 8839, Shoshone Robotics. Founded in 2022, we are based out of Shoshone, Idaho. Our team is comprised of students from a variety of diverse backgrounds and interests.
Our FRC Program is managed by Coaches and Mentors and powered by our generous Sponsors. Team 8839 strives to empower students to gain self-confidence and become leaders, collaborators, and critical thinkers while fostering a culture of STEM celebration in our community through robotics.
We all come together to build a robot and compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition, a global event that is a place for all students to learn, grow, and compete.

The Shoshone Robotics Team hopes to bring the power of FIRST® to the students of Shoshone High School and its community. We believe that our future holds many opportunities in STEM careers. FIRST® will truly inspire today's students to use their intelligent mindset to create and design robots capable of performing various tasks.
