Student Roles
As Shoshone Robotics members, you are encouraged to do whatever interests you the most. Our sub-teams include:

Build & Design – Does the actual building of the robot.

Programming – Programs the robot (in Java), will have the opportunity to work and learn about PID and vision processing.

Computer Aided Design (CAD) – Collaborates with other members to CAD the robot. Learns how to work with CAD Programs such as SolidWorks.

Electrical – Works with electronics that are on the robot.

Marketing Team – Learn how to make a business plan and reaches out to companies for sponsorship opportunities, applies for grants. Also plan out school fundraisers.

Impact Team – Works on the Impact Presentation for a chance to win the Chairman's Award at our competitions.

Outreach Team – Organizes outreach events and STEM outreach camps in the Shoshone School District

Team Structure
The Robotics team is organized by two main sub-teams: Engineering and Business. Students can then choose from various roles in each sub-team. Students are encouraged to be part of more than one sub-team to help them find a perfect fit within the team.​
